Zero liability situations are emergencies where it would be morally wrong to abide by liability laws because the person is already close to death or a fate worse than death- if whatever fear liability is designed to prevent becomes true, it does not matter because the consequence is better than the fate that was avoided.
Like they say for CPR- don't worry about breaking someone's rib. They are already dead. You can't harm them more than they are already harmed.
CPR is only one of an overwhelmingly large number of zero liability situations that people face every day.
